I've played simul games against the experienced Serbian chess coach IM Vojislav Milanovic many times and, inevitably, late in my games I would lose track of things. But my last simul game was different. I had a weak c6 pawn but I managed to find some play after sacrificing my h pawn. The final position is important. If the White King moves up the King side then Black checks and picks up the white h passed pawn. If the White King gets close to the rook, then Black just retreats to d7 and again picks up the pawn. It's a lot of work holding endgame positions against IMs and GMs. Practice!! Final position. Draw.
